Our Women of Trinity group will be reading the book, Girl Meets God: A Memoir by Lauren F. Winner. This blog will allow you to meet to discuss the chapters, beginning in October. There will be copies of the book available in Trinity's library.
I am so pleased this book was selected for the WOT Book Blog. While Lauren relates many of her struggles as she transitions from one faith to another, I found I can identify with some of the same questions in my own spiritual journey. I particularly liked her choice of lenten disciplines. Actually it was her Episcopal rector who encouraged "something you really love; something that is hard to do without." (I'll not tell you just in case you haven't read that part!)
